Yran was a very special rat. She was at the same time playful and calm. She could lay still in your knee and get petted for hours, but other times she was curious and wanted to play and get attention. Thanks to this, she came up with a game in which she nipped peoples toes to get their attention. As soon as she had it, she raced away, to not be scolded. She could hunt the apartment for all day just to get to nibble ones feet when you weren't prepared!
This, of course, led to an amusing encounter one day.
There was always many, many doorknockers, may it be salesmen or religious people, where I lived then. One day when some of the religous sort came by, I forgot that my little orange girl was out, playing. I had just had time to open the door before one of those men in front of me shrieked like a girl and stared behind me bewildered! I couldn't understand anything... did they thought I was some kind of incarnation of the devil or what? -.-'
When I looked over my shoulder I saw a tail dissappear around the corner... Yran had played her little game even with those visitors with their tempting sandals! XD
they left without saying a word. I never got visitors of the religious sort again. end of a very amusing story... *snickers*
Sadly I had to leave Yran to a new home later on thanks to certain circumstances... *sighs* But she sure was a rat of her own kind!
